Saint Mary’s Press Apps for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston app for iPhone and iPad

Daily prayers, memorized by heart, are an important way to stay in relationship with God. The Saint Mary’s Press Prayers by Heart app, created to support the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston’s Framework for Lifelong Faith Formation, brings meaning to the prayers and practices of our Catholic faith using the technology that young people know and love.

Designed for grades 6 through 12, this app offers 3 distinct ways to assist young people in learning these prayers and practices by heart.

First, young people connect to the significance and meaning of each prayer or practice through dynamic videos, presented by Robert Feduccia, one of the most inspirational speakers and ministry leaders today.

Second, young people can truly learn each prayer or practice with their whole heart, by choosing to read the prayer themselves, or have it read to them through a “read aloud” feature in the app.

Finally, young people will come to see the beauty and strength of each prayer through meditation videos that blend inspiring images and music, creating an opportunity to reflect on God’s love in their lives.
